Annual Singing Contest

The East Texas Angel Network will be holding their second annual Singing Star Contest this year.  If you are interested in participating, please print out the application following, and read all rules for participation.  You may also contact  Patsy at The Neal McCoy Fan Club Office for more information at (903) 297-9000.

Singing Star Contest

Auditions will be by DVD or Video tape only.  No Cassettes or CD’s will be accepted.

Contest open to amateurs.  Persons under contract with a professional management agency or record company or who derive a significant portion of their income from public recording or performance are not eligible to participate.       

        ** Solo Acts only

         ** Back-up music be keyboard, guitar, or tracks

         ** Country music  only.  No original songs!

         ** Auditions must be submitted on DVD. (No VHS tapes will be accepted)

         ** Five finalists will be selected and they will perform at the East Texas Angel Network Concert on Saturday September 25.

         ** If you are chosen to perform on September 25, you must provide your own accompaniment    

             or furnish music for Neal McCoy’s band no later than August 15.

         ** Finalists will be notified no later than August 1.

        ** You will be judged on vocal performance, stage presence, appearance, song selection

        ** You must submit an 8X10 photo of yourself for possible publicity purposes.

 Top five (5) contestants will perform one song each at The East Texas Angel Network concert

On September 25, 2010.  The winner that night will be given the opportunity to perform with Neal at a concert date to be determined.

 Applications, along with video must be submitted no later than July 16.
